Welcome to the N.H.K. / NHK ni Youkoso!

"Hikikomori" refers to a group of teenagers and young adults who refuse to go to school or find a job.

A great manga about a Hikikorimori living in Japan and the girl who's out to save him. It's about H games, suicide pacts, pyramid schemes and anything and everything otaku.

If you liked Otaku No Video, Desha Otaku, or Genshikin the anime or the manga give this a read it great.

Maid in Akihabara

After watching the first episode I had to post this if you liked Densha Otoko run over and download this show now, I'm downloading episode 2 right now. It's very short the first episode was only 15 minutes and by file size I expect episode 2 is about the same length. It is a very funny opening episode.

If you download it let me know how you liked it!

Tracker The sub group seems to specialize in maid anime series.

I stole the following from the sub groups forum.

Move over, Densha Otoko. There's a new goddess in town!

"Maid in Akihabara" is a live-action comedy/drama starring Mako-sama, the voice actress for Yurie-sama in Kamichu. She plays Saki, a girl in dire straits that needs to find a new job, fast! As luck would have it, she finds one... in a maid cafe in Akihabara that caters to anime-crazed otaku.

Yurie's voice actress in a French maid outfit... what's not to like? But Saki undergoes culture shock as she adjusts to the moe otaku's world, making mistakes along the way, but also finding friends and discovering her SECRET MOE POWER.

"Maid in Akihabara," a six episode series, coming soon from IIchan Translation Group.
