Honey & Clover Movie Live Action

Are you looking for something else to watch while you wait for the next episode of Hana Yori Dango, give this Arts College romance story a try.

I had a chance to see the Hachimitsu to Clover movie last night and below are screen caps from the first 10 to 15 minutes, no spoilers involved just some pictures of the characters that we've come to know so well in the anime and manga. I enjoyed the movie very much but I must say that I recommend watching the anime first. The anime was presented over two seasons with a total of 36 episodes so the characters and situations are much more developed. Asides from condensing the storyline, the plot while essentially remaining the same has changed in some rather dramatic ways. I'll say nothing more about it as not to give any spoilers except to say I'm glad that they didn't just stick to the original storyline this brings a freshness to the story and something to surprise the fans of the anime .

You can download the bit torrent file for the movie here. If you haven't seen the anime you can download 1st season with the OVAs here, season 2 of the anime can be downloaded here. The manga doesn't have an English release but you can get Scanlations from here for the first 2 volumes of the 10 volumes that have been released in Japan.

I think that if I watch it without any sort of expectation that it will be even remotely close to the anime, I'll enjoy it. :D

The key is to treat this movie as a seperate thing entirely. In that respect, it should actually prove to be quite entertaining.

I agree entirely, I really enjoyed the movie and the anime and I find another view point by the director to be more entertaining then rehashing the exact same storyline.
