Suzuki Anne (Returner, Stand Up!!) plays Etsuko Shinomura a girl just entering high school who dreams of joining the school rowing club, only to find out that it’s a boys only club. She arrives at the boat house to join and the boys are overjoyed because they think she wants to be the manager, they need someone to clean. She gets four more girls to join and starts a girls crew.

I don’t really care for sports but I like sports dramas because really they are not about the sport but about the characters. The cast is very good especially Suzuki Anne (really loved her in Hana to Alice); much of the cast are reunited in “Attention Please” the following year.
