Sasaki Fusai no Jingi Naki Tatakai 佐々木夫妻の仁義なき戦い Ep 3 Screen Caps

Episode 3 Divorce Already!?
This episode opens as the last ended with Norimichi played by Inagaki Goro (Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, SMAPxSMAP) asking Ritsuko played by Koyuki (Antique, Kimi wa Pet) for a divorce. Norimichi explains that he wants to give Ritsuko her life back, all the money and good job she has abandoned for her marriage. Norimichi goes on to say that the only thing that can’t be returned is the time wasted. Then he pulls out his pocket recorder and recounts some of the fight’s that they’ve had over the course of the marriage, the cold fried rice incident, drinking from the milk carton argument, how to open a bag of potato chips total time wasted on trivial arguments 738 hours. Norimichi points out that if the couple lives till they are 80 they’ll argue for 492 days.

I’ve been complaining about this show for the first two episodes, how it’s just this trivial bickering that I don’t enjoy but I finally get it. This episode was really funny when the anal Norimichi points out the futility of the marriage I was cracking up. I love both of these characters, the free and easy Ritsuko and the completely anal Norimichi. They were made for each other even if they have to battle it out every day. The supporting characters were great in this episode as they had more of a role and maybe the one sided romance between Hajime and Megumi will add some more laughs as the drama continues.

Now it starts getting interesting. Skimping through your screen shots, it reminded me of my friend's ex husband. He printed out the whole list of dinners that he paid during their short lived marriage and...demanded for a refund. No wonder why only 50% of marriage survives nowadays. I might consider watching this series.
