Shika otoko Aoniyoshi 鹿男あをによし Episode 2 Screen Caps
The deer are informing Ogawa Takanobu played by Tamaki Hiroshi (Nodame Cantabile, Water Boys) that he is to be “The Deliverer”, the country is in his hands and it’s his job to save Japan. But Ogawa runs away, the next morning he’s calmly going over the events again and he knows that it’s physically impossible for a deer to speak, so he buys senbei to test out his theory. He knows that he’s tired from the events that have led him here, his banishment from the lab his double loss of job and girlfriend to his rival. While he knows that he’s under a tremendous amount of stress he doesn’t believe that it’s enough to cause a nervous breakdown, what he suspects is that he’s being watched.
The surreal show this week leads Ogawa on a quest and a golf outing. It’s as funny as last week’s episode but much more fantasy based as he spends a lot of time interacting with the deer. The deer feels despair that they have to work with such a wretched human. Ogawa doesn’t believe it at all, but then when the school sends him on a trip with Michiko it’s exactly how it was explained to him. Tamaki Hiroshi is doing a great job with this series, in this episode he spends the majority of time on screen with little or no human interaction just with the deer. My only small gripe with the series is sometimes the digital effects aren’t very realistic.

i heard both drama and movie of [sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu] are nice. i have only seen the drama. but if you plan to watch both i would suggest the drama first. people who watched both said they were lucky they watched the drama before the movie, because if you watched the movie first you would find the drama abit draggy. it is one of the famous shows in the [crying drama circle] but to me it still doesnt beat [1 litre of tears], which of course you had already watched. still, it is a touching story. yeapx. those who completed it gave high ratings, while those who didnt said it is boring.
