Gokusen 3 ごくせん Ep3 Screen Caps

Kumiko played by Nakama Yukie (Gokusen, Itazura na Kiss) finds the boys walking to school and contemplating skipping school to do karaoke instead. She pops up out of nowhere and tells them that the sun god will be angry if they skip on a perfect day for studying. Then she does a monologue about getting along, before telling them their beloved and beautiful teacher will be waiting for them. She sprints enthusiastically to the school where she finds all the students out on the field practicing different sports. When she arrives in the teacher’s room she’s informed the students are working hard for the upcoming sports festival. She didn’t know anything about the festival, and they inform her that the school’s specialty is rugby. But Head teacher Sawatari played by Namase Katsuhisa (Gokusen 1 & 2, 4 Shimai Tantei Dan) tells Kumiko that her class isn’t participating right? But she declares that of course they are.

The thing that I pointed out in my post about episode 2 as a difference between this drama and the other two seasons of Gokusen, the inter class conflict between Ogata and Kazama was resolved in that episode so now it even more resembles its two previous seasons. Where in each episode a student has a problem and Kumiko winds up solving it for them, so even though there is nothing fresh I still like this show a lot. I think the main reason is Nakama Yukie she has this roll down pat but never seems to just be going through the motions. If you liked the first two seasons give this one a try.
